Waipukurau Ladies Golf Club are holding their annual country classic team stableford golf tournament on Friday 19 September 2008 with a shot gun start @ 9.30 ish.  This year the theme is "Olympics" and teams of four are invited to dress accordingly.

The entry is $25 per player and this includes twos, lunch and on course refreshments.

Te Shack is bringing back the ever popular paddock skid..

The Takapau Terrors Demolition Derby Club are hosting the event, where old beat up cars are given their last crack at glory.
Events include demolition derby races, time trials and car soccer, sure to entertain.

We
have decided to allow the local primary school kids to come along and
watch for free as it will be a whole lot of fun for them - for others
it is a gold coin donation

Drivers can bring along their own car
painted with imaginary or real sponsors, or we can supply vehicles to
be used at an extra cost. Helmets must be warn and all safety
precautions will be taken.

Costs: Driver $15
Use of Car $10
Spectators $ gold coin
Takapau Primary and Te Kura kids FREE

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase
